We are passionate about

Meeting needs in our community

Who We Are

God’s Hands At Work is a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a current charitable certification on file with the State of Ohio. All contributions to this organization are tax deductible.

Our Approach

— Ways We Serve

God’s Hands at Work provides assistance to the residents of Gallia, Jackson, Mason, Meigs, and Vinton County. At times, we also help connect residents to agencies that may be able to further aid them in their time of need.

— Our Goal

It is our goal to demonstrate and share the love of Christ with others while serving our neighbors. We are committed to follow Him and His leading all the while working to be a blessing to those in need in our communities. Together, we hope for a brighter future and pray for God to be glorified in all we say and do.

— Our Mission

We believe in demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by loving our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39) by providing assistance in times of great need.

— How We Serve

God’s Hands At Work is a 501 c (3) Non-profit organization and has relied solely on community donation until 2020. Currently, we are seeking to expand our financial sources to provide more support and resources to meet the needs for our local neighbors.

— Who We Serve

At this time, we support Gallia, Jackson, Meigs and Vinton Counties in Ohio as well as Mason County, West Virginia. In the past, we have offered assistance to fire and flood victims, elders who have faced abuse, domestic violence survivors, those affected by homelessness and individuals who have been faced with job loss.

— How Can You Help

How can you help us help others? You can donate items such as personal hygiene items, household items, furniture, unexpired non-perishable food items and by giving monetary support in any amount.

Board Members

Sue Allen

Hello friends! I’m Sue Allen. I’m the newly elected Secretary for God’s Hands At Work. I have been a volunteer since this ministry began and have also served as Treasurer for several years. I have worked on many projects and currently make quilts for the Baby Pantry as part of the group of volunteers at Northup Quilt Club. I am a long-time member of Pleasant View Church at Gallipolis Ferry, WV. In my free time, I work in the Holzer Gift Shop and spend time with my family and friends. I’m a proud “Mamaw” of 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. I’m proud to be a part of God’s Hands At Work.

Amy Beaver

Hey y’all! I’m Amy and I am proud to serve God’s Hands At Work as a board member and excited to be the new Vice-President! I have previously served as the Event Coordinator for two years. I’m a southern gal that has called Gallia County my home for the past 14 years. My husband, Steve, and I are the blessed parents of two children, Austin and Brooklyn. We share our home with 4 fur babies - GusGus, Mickey, Ollie and Bowie. I’ve been involved with GHAW since it’s beginning, having helped with many of the organization’s ministries, but my passion has always been the Princess Prom Program. Our family calls World Outreach Ministries in Jackson County our church home, where we have grown individually and spiritually to become a Christ-centered family that serves God and I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our communities showing His love.
